Hello to my non-existent community so far 😊.

As promised in my previous video: How to draw realistic eyes with graphite pencils, this next video is about drawing realistic eyes with colored pencils.

No need to go spend money on expensive brand of color pencils. For now, whatever you can find is ok. Steal your children’s Crayola or whatever😊. So far, it’s just about getting some tips in order to start, practice and getting the hang of it.

You’re gonna love drawing colored eyes. It’s just so satisfying!

I find the eye to be the most satisfying feature to draw. You can add so much depth and expression to it, play with the tones and so much more.

However, before you can get to all that fun, first you need to know the basics. The eye is a very fun draw but, without some pointers, it might take some time to get it right.

So, this video is really for first-level beginners. It’s the first step towards learning how to draw a face. Because it demands some attention and can make or kill your portrait. You’ll notice it’s the very first feature artist work on when drawing a face.

So, let’s dive in and have some fun. Grab your drawing pad, your pencil, an eraser and a pencil sharpener and you’re good to go.

Remember to set your subtitles, this video is in French. I’m kinda struggling to know who’s watching and what language to use. So some videos are in French, some in English, I’m still testing my audience. So, if you like my content, please drop a comment to let me know what language you prefer : English, French, Spanish. Thanks for helping.

Enough talking. Let’s draw!

Drawing Phoebe Buffay (video)

Hello hello. Thanks for clicking on my thumbnail. Today, we’re gonna be drawing Princess Consuela Banana Hammock. Please a round of applause for Miss Phoebe Buffay.

So I’ve decided to draw the cast of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Why? Well, certainly for the same reason I’m still watching it E-VE-RY NIGHT: they’re the only friends I’ve had for ages, the only ones who have been there with me through thick and thin… Mama’s death, divorce, exile in a country where I knew no one and where in the end my people are being treated like…

What’s the animal most people hate? I’d say worms. When you see one, you either run for your life, throw it away as fast as you can or kill it… No one says “Aww, the poor little thing, it’s probably hungry, let’s feed it…” I mean, it’s not dangerous and we know it but we scream when we see one. Right?

Well, that’s Haitians in Dominican Republic. To our neighbors we’re worms… I could say rats but rats have cost plagues before, that’s a good enough reason to hate them. But WHAT HAVE WORMS DONE TO US?

Ok, I’ve digressed… So, I’m a F.R.I.E.N.D.S loving worm. And I’ve decided to cross the bridge from slightly overzealous fan to total nutcase fan… I want to have them in my home, so I’m drawing the entire cast… Well at least the six. Plus probably Gunther, his hair might be fun to draw… and… Janice saying O M G…

So, let’s have some fun!

And please let me know in the comments who else you would like to watch me draw. This new channel needs some love in order to grow. So, any sign is welcome… likes, comments, criticism, subscriptions, anything will make my day.

Kiss kiss.

One of my favorite drawing exercises is to start with nothing specific in mind and let my artwork reveal to me my worries and anxieties. This is how I ended up drawing this lady in the middle of the night.

I’ve been worried about some health issues lately so I gather that even though I’m not consciously thinking about them, that’s what’s keeping me up at night.
